DGT Navis N4 Go-Live Update

Durban Gateway Terminal (DGT) is preparing to transition to the NAVIS N4 Terminal Operating System, with the cutover scheduled to begin:

During the cutover period, no vessel or landside operations will take place while operational data is migrated, validated and tested.

What SAAFF Members Need To Know

🔹 NAVIS N4 registration is mandatory
Existing users of the Transnet NAVIS environment will not be automatically migrated. Organisations requiring access must complete the new registration process and submit their forms to n4accounts@dgt.ictsi.com.

🔹 Plan transport and cargo movements accordingly
No trucks will be planned, staged or appointed for terminal transactions during the 12-hour cutover.

🔹 Expect some delays after go-live
DGT will progressively ramp up operations following validation and testing. Customers are advised to allow additional flexibility in logistics schedules during the initial stabilisation period.

🔹 Register for ICTSI RADAR
The RADAR platform will provide visibility of container status, vessel movements, truck transactions, cargo milestones and terminal advisories following go-live.

🔹 24/7 Hypercare support will be available
DGT, ICTSI and NAVIS resources will provide enhanced support for a minimum of two weeks following implementation.
